Jason Novotny - Head Coach

 Jason has been coaching youth and high school baseball for over 13 years, the last six at Chatfield.  During Jason's high school coaching career, he has been the head coach of the freshman, sophomore and JV teams as well as an assistant on Varsity.

Jason was born and raised in Omaha Nebraska where he attended and played baseball and football at Bryan High School.  After high school, Jason joined the Navy and became a fighter aircraft mechanic, completing two, six-month deployments on the USS Truman aircraft carrier.  

After graduating with his undergrad degree while in the Navy, Jason attended the University of Colorado where he received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2017.  

When Jason has to do real work off the field, he manages a team of telecommunication specialists on the east coast. Jason has four boys: Jared (CSH 2019), Dylan (CSH 2022), Kyle and Evan.

Team leader with a goal of developing our talented Charger athletes into being great young men both on and off the field.
